How we’re a different school of thought.

A Pasadena Waldorf School education enhances and enriches learning through the integration of the arts into all academic disciplines. The result is experiential, academically vigorous, and has been inspiring students to reach their full potential as life-long learners for over 100 years.

We’re on a mission.

PWS is a community where students can find a passion for learning, be curious about the world around them, and discover their purpose in it. Our vigorous academic curriculum engages the whole human being, delivered in a setting that fosters self-awareness, social connection, responsibility, and action.

Our Location has changed.
Our mission hasn't.

On January 7, 2025, the Eaton fire devastated our beloved Altadena neighborhood and K-8 campus. Before the embers were extinguished, our team was already working to continue our mission. And continue it does, with our recent move to two lush campuses spanning over 112 acres at the base of the Verdugo Mountains in nearby Montrose and Glendale. The abundant facilities and extraordinary amenities beautifully support our curriculum and offer a living example of the resilience instilled in our students. One more example of a different school of thought.

WHY PWS IS UNIQUE

How Pasadena Waldorf students stand out in college admissions.

An increasingly competitive college admissions process, grades and test scores are no longer the final deciding factors for students to be accepted into the colleges of their choice.
