Camp & After School Programs
PWS After School Care Program
After School Care (ASC) is available for PWS students enrolled in Full Day Kindergarten and grades 1-8. This program begins when class is dismissed and ends at 5:30 p.m. ASC consists of supervised care outdoor at the Machris Mariposa Campus.
The program provides a safe, natural environment in which children can climb, play, run, work on social skills, and be of service to their classmates, school, and larger community. Children are immersed in an environment reminiscent of many of our own childhood neighborhoods. Staff members, trained in First Aid and CPR, provide a program of the highest quality, headed by a trained Waldorf teacher who brings the principles of Waldorf education into the After-School Care Program.

PWS Camps
Pasadena Waldorf School holds seasonal break and summer camps for students in Early Childhood to Grade 8.
Early Childhood Camp takes from the rhythm and structure of a regular day in Waldorf Early Childhood programs which includes a morning stroll, indoor and outdoor play, nap time, story time and more!
Grades Camp offers a fun and relaxed daily schedule with time for individual and small group creative projects, games, fine arts, cultural enrichment, and lots of time to play outdoors, weather permitting! Campers in grades 1-6 make new friends with students from other grades and schools and enjoy spending time with old friends in a fun, small group setting in a beautiful environment.
