You might think that after 9 months of living in a pandemic we might not be feeling inspired or creative, but our Winter Spectacular showed quite the opposite. In December 2020, we celebrated with our Winter Spectacular, and once again, beautiful performances by teachers, students and special guests wowed our audience.
PWS Beyond The Classroom
In March 2020, PWS successfully pivoted to our remote learning program Beyond The Classroom. Our teachers, staff, and students rose to the challenge of this new paradigm, and the results were extraordinary. We are proud of having delivered a meaningful, rich Waldorf curriculum to our students during the pandemic.

The Transformation of the PWS Mendocino Garden
In early 2016, the 5,000 square ft. piece of land in front of Pasadena Waldorf School's High School building on Mendocino Street in Altadena was an unforgiving patch of weeds and lifeless soil. Thanks to the expertise and tireless work of PWS garden teacher Walker Rollins, with the outstanding support of students, parents, local gardening experts, neighbors, and community partners Whole Foods Market, the garden today is a hub of learning, beauty, nourishment and life.
