Position Summary

With a rich history, Pasadena Waldorf School is entering its forty-fifth year of offering a vibrant Waldorf education to students from infancy through 12th grade.
In addition to seeking experienced Waldorf early childhood teachers, we welcome applicants who are currently in a Waldorf teacher certification program or have relevant teaching experience in other school settings and an interest in becoming a Waldorf teacher.
This entails carrying an active Preschool class throughout the school day- our teachers work in and around the classrooms full-day. Work to form a healthy social bond within the class and good school habits in the students as well as parent communication and education about the scope and impact of Waldorf education and the needs of the developing human being are also part of the role. Partnership in areas of school life that we all hold together is expected once new teachers are established and fully onboarded in their work. Our Early Childhood teachers work closely together and hold the values of collaboration, teamwork and mutual support as keys to the success of our programs.
